Esher Fireplaces have just completed our new dining room fireplace. They have removed an old coal-effect gas fire, fitted a new slate stove chamber along with an Edwardian surround and installed a Bassington Eco wood burning stove in Oxford Grey enamel. From organising the very first site visit to completion, their service has been efficient and friendly. Paul’s advice and guidance was really helpful to choose the best products, and he was very patient with all my questions. On confirming we would proceed, we were given a schedule for each part of the work, on dates which suited us, and which proceeded exactly as planned. The two gentlemen who removed and replaced the hearth, chamber and surround were skilled and took great care to avoid damage to the surrounding chimney breast. They were very tidy, cleaning up as they worked so that unbelievably there was hardly any dust despite this being a potentially messy job. Similarly the team who fitted the wood burning stove and chimney liner were clearly expert in their field and gave helpful aftercare advice. The rubbish from the project was collected this morning again with consideration and courtesy. Sue was always helpful on the phone when making appointments and I believe is the mastermind of the efficient scheduling. We lit the fire for the first time this morning and it is working brilliantly, with great adjustability from the air controls. We are now really looking forward to some cozy feasts in here over Christmas. We are extremely pleased with the workmanship, products and service, and would unreservedly recommend Esher Fireplaces to other potential customers.

A good experience from beginning to end! We received the advice we needed to upgrade and modernise our gas fire in an existing fireplace. The ordering and installation process were seamless and prompt and we are delighted with the end result which enables us to operate the fire with a remote control and to feel very safe with its operation.

They are easy to contact via their premises, telephone or email. Excellent time keeping for site visit, chimney being swept and final installation. Very happy with new gas fire which gives out plenty of heat.
